My practice involves archiving the present, through video documentation and object refabrication. Weaving reality and the imagined, my work often goes on a journey to find the balance between what happened and what did not happen. I am charmed by fluid reality and plastic memory in retelling the past, present, and maybe the future. Sometimes the process starts with accumulation of both digital and physical objects, withered flowers, kitchen waste, plastic bag, tin can… The process continues until parts begin to find their own story and structure. Then I become merely an organizer, telling stories about the future with the past of the object.
